About

This oceanic gateway to Antigua and Barbuda welcomes over 800,000 cruise passengers annually through harbours in St. John's, Falmouth, and Barbuda. Operating under a 30-year concession agreement since 2019, the port serves as a signature destination for both eastern and southern Caribbean cruise itineraries. The facility features five berths, including a 700-foot pier capable of accommodating the world's largest Oasis-class and Excel-class cruise ships, with capacity to serve over one million passengers yearly. The port offers vibrant duty-free shopping experiences at Heritage Quay, along with access to the islands' rich cultural heritage and pristine pink and white sandy beaches. An ambitious Upland Development Project, scheduled for completion by 2026, will feature a state-of-the-art homeporting cruise terminal, 50,000 square feet of expanded retail and dining facilities, plus commercial spaces for local entrepreneurs. The port actively supports community development through training programs, educational initiatives, and infrastructure improvements, ensuring cruise tourism benefits extend throughout the local community while providing world-class port operations.
